Delete my account

Follow these steps to request deletion of your Pear Bible account and associated personal data.

In app

You can request account deletion directly from the Pear Bible app:

  1. Open the Pear Bible app and go to your Profile.
  2. Under Settings, tap Delete Account and follow the prompts to confirm.

By email

If you can’t access the app, you can request deletion by email instead:

  1. Send an email to support@pearbible.com.
  2. Use the subject line: “Delete my Pear Bible account”.
  3. In the body of the email, include the email address associated with your Pear account so we can locate and verify it.

We will respond to your request within 30 days.


Your account and the personal information tied to it are permanently removed from our active systems, including:

  • Your account and sign-in identity
  • Your profile, preferences, and notification settings
  • Your reading activity and progress
  • Content you created, such as highlights, comments, and reflections
  • Your social connections, including friends, friend requests, and nudges
  • Shared content: reading plans you created or joined with others remain available to the remaining members.
  • Encrypted backups: retained for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
  • Server logs and diagnostics: retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging.
  • Legal and compliance records: minimal records may be retained where required by law.
